AK Guitar Society

Kianush has a passion for sharing music in all it's forms and his love of the guitar has led him to found and create two classical guitar societies, one in Bexhill and one in Hertfordshire. These provide a venue for local community members and classical guitar enthusiasts to come together and share their music with each other. In Bexhill he has founded an international concert series  providing free concerts and events to members of the local community. Players from all over the world have come to perform in Bexhill at his invitation like Pavel Ralev, Michael Button, Jonathan Parkin, Jelena Ratkvoic, Zoe Barnett, Manus Noble, Arik Goldstein, Jack Hancher and more. The guitar societies have become an enourmous community success with over 100 members between them with events regularly sponsored by luthiers like Nick Branwell, Martin Douglas and Steve Toon.

Impressions of Segovia

Inspird by his teacher John Mills, Kianush dedicated his most recent concert tour and first album recording to the guitarist Andres Segovia with an exploration of his unique techniques and tonal colours with his own impression and unique musical voice. He has toured extensively throughout the south coast of England with his new programme ‘Impressions of Segovia’ and which is much loved by audiences who praise his tone and musical sensitivity. This success has led to a landmark recording of the programme in Spain with the recording artist Javier Salvador to be released in early 2024.
