Recorded in Castellon De Plana, Spain in December 2023, this recording is a personal expression of my passion for the sound of the guitar inspired by my teacher John Mills and his own influence of the legendary guitarist Andres Segovia. Segovia gave John, who then shared with me, a unique touch and attack on the string, which I have used in my own way to create my own 'Impression' of the thing that Segovia discovered, mastered and then shared with all guitarists to use in their own way. John would often say how he feels this special quality has been lost in the pursuit of speed, perfection and competition prizes. I hope that this recording can keep the idea alive.
